jump superstars

I've been wanting the Shounen Jump Superstars game since it came out, but I think getting it now made it even more enjoyable because I know a lot more of the characters (instead of just Bleach and Naruto...), and I saved importing and shipping costs :) I got it on Wednesday, and I've gotten to the point now where I've unlocked most of what I can easily, and now it's going through the nitpicky levels and playing them over and over until I beat them. It's really fun, even though it's pretty text-heavy for a fighting game. It takes a while to get used to building decks of fighters and matching up the characters with their manga panels, but once you do, it's pretty addicting. Plus, I'm a sucker for unlocking things. Going through Warioware was fun until I finished unlocking all the games, and I have a feeling it'll be the same for Jump Superstars, except that I don't know if I'll be able to unlock everything. It has this neverending feeling, like even if you complete all the missions, there's still more to do. I've already seen the credits four or five times, but I'm still no where near done, from what I read online...

I had to go online to find a walkthrough for the game since it's in Japanese, and in doing so, I stumbled across the sequel, Jump Ultimate Stars, which is coming out in December. I'll definitely have to get that, but there probably won't be a walkthrough available for a while, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were sold out here the first few weeks...

We finally got a replacement DS Lite! We also got Brain Age this time so I won't look like an idiot next time I have to show people how fast I do arithmetic!
