wiped clean (yet again)

Well, I'd been meaning to put in a bigger hard drive in my poor powerbook, but I didn't imagine this was the way I'd go about doing it... In the past week, my old 60 GB hard drive went from working to barely working to failing to out of my computer. I now have a new 100 GB (well, technically around 93 GB...) hard drive successfully installed and formatted. I love newegg for being so close to home. I ordered my hard drive late-ish Wednesday night, and it arrived this morning. I was definitely not looking forward to taking apart my computer yet again, but it went much more smoothly this time (since all I had to do was replace the hard drive, not fix some unknown problem with the internals...). Now all I have to do is reinstall software and get all my preferences set the way I like them. I think that can wait until after I get back from "The Da Vinci Code," though. I'm just glad I've got my computer up and running again for now. I think I'll let it rest for a bit before I do anything else to it...
